We rent our home to visitors to France who wish, as we do, to experience living as a French family. For many years our dream was to own a home in the historic Languedoc area. The village is completely off the main road, boasting a medieval section and a “petite vieux” Church. The house is built of stone and dates from the early 1400′s. It has 5 levels renovated with terra cotta tiles, white plaster walls and all the conveniences of a North American or European home.
You will be staying in a pleasant 1,000 years old village of Nézignan l’Évêque, in the Midi. The countryside is almost totally given over to vineyards. Nézignan l’Évêque is on the coastal plain, 15 minutes by car from the Mediterranean. The local vista varies from that of the 14th to the 20th centuries – always interesting. Only 20 minutes to the north are the spectacular mountains and gorges of Haut Languedoc.
